These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) apply to your use of rootedandreadyllc.com and to executive functioning coaching services provided by Rooted & Ready LLC (“Rooted & Ready,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By using this site or requesting a consultation, you agree to these Terms.
Rooted & Ready provides executive functioning coaching: practical, skills based support that helps students build habits around organization, time management, task initiation, planning, and self advocacy. Coaching is delivered in person in the North Shore and Greater Boston areas, and remotely by video.
This is an important distinction, and we want it stated plainly.
Coaching is not therapy, counseling, psychotherapy, or any form of mental health treatment.
Coaching is not a medical, psychological, or educational evaluation, and we do not diagnose any condition, including ADHD, autism, or a learning disability.
Coaching is not special education instruction, and it does not replace services your student is entitled to receive from their school.
Coaching is not subject matter tutoring. We work on how a student manages their work, not on the content of that work.
We are glad to work alongside an existing IEP, 504 plan, therapist, or tutor, but coaching does not substitute for any of them. If your student needs clinical care or a formal evaluation, please consult a licensed provider or your school district.
Every student is different. We bring experience, structure, and genuine care to the work, but we cannot and do not guarantee particular grades, test scores, school placements, college admissions, or any other specific result. Progress depends heavily on a student’s own participation and on consistent follow through at home.
The initial consultation is free and carries no obligation.
Coaching sessions are scheduled by agreement between you and Rooted & Ready, and are billed per session at the rate we confirm with you before the first session.
Payment is due as arranged at the time of scheduling unless we agree otherwise in writing.
If you need to cancel or reschedule, please give as much notice as you reasonably can so the time can be offered to another family.
Coaching services for a student under 18 must be arranged and authorized by a parent or legal guardian. By requesting a consultation on behalf of a student, you confirm that you are that student’s parent or guardian and that you are authorized to share the information you provide.
You may use this site for your own personal, non commercial purposes. Please do not submit false information, attempt to interfere with the site, or use it in any way that violates the law.
The text, images, and design on this site belong to Rooted & Ready or are used with permission. Information on the site is general and educational. It is not advice about any specific student, and it should not be relied on as a substitute for a conversation about your own situation.
We treat what you and your student share with us as confidential, and we handle it as described in our Privacy Policy. Please note that coaching is not a legally privileged relationship the way conversations with a licensed therapist or attorney can be. If we ever have reason to believe a child is at risk of harm, we will act accordingly.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Rooted & Ready is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of this site or our services. Our total liability for any claim relating to our services will not exceed the amount you paid us for the services giving rise to that claim.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, without regard to its conflict of laws rules.
We may update these Terms from time to time. The effective date at the top of this page shows when they were last revised. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
