Rooted & Ready LLC (“Rooted & Ready,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) provides executive functioning coaching to students and families. This policy explains what information we collect through rootedandreadyllc.com, how we use it, and the choices you have.
We collect information you give us directly when you request a free consultation through the form on our site. That includes:
Your first and last name
Your email address and phone number
Your student’s first name and grade level
Anything you choose to write in the message field
We also collect basic technical information automatically when you visit, such as your browser type, device type, approximate location based on IP address, and which pages you viewed. This is standard website analytics and is not used to identify you personally.
Our services are purchased and arranged by parents and guardians, not by children. The consultation form is intended to be completed by an adult. We ask only for a student’s first name and grade level so that we can have a useful first conversation with you.
We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13. If you believe a child has submitted information to us without a parent or guardian, please contact us at [email protected] and we will delete it.
Once coaching begins, we may receive additional information about your student from you, such as school accommodations, an IEP or 504 plan, or notes about how your student learns. We treat that information as confidential and use it only to provide coaching.
We use the information you provide to:
Respond to your consultation request and schedule a conversation
Provide, schedule, and follow up on coaching sessions
Send you service related messages about your inquiry or your student’s sessions
Send you occasional updates or promotional messages, but only if you have separately opted in
Keep our own business records and improve our website
Our consultation form includes two separate checkboxes for text messaging. They are optional, and you can submit the form without checking either one.
Service messages. If you check the first box, you consent to receive non-marketing text messages from Rooted & Ready about your inquiry, such as scheduling and follow up.
Promotional messages. If you check the second box, you consent to receive marketing and promotional text messages, such as availability updates or special offers.
Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any message to opt out, or HELP for assistance. Opting out of promotional messages does not affect messages about a session you have already scheduled.
We do not sell or share your mobile phone number or your text messaging consent with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing purposes. No mobile information is shared with third parties for marketing. Service providers that help us operate our messaging, such as our customer relationship platform, may process your number only to deliver messages on our behalf.
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only in these limited situations:
Service providers. We use third party tools to run our website, store contact information, and send email and text messages. These providers process your information only to provide services to us.
Legal reasons. We may disclose information if required by law, or to protect the safety, rights, or property of a student, another person, or Rooted & Ready.
With your permission. For example, if you ask us to coordinate with your student’s school.
We keep consultation requests for as long as needed to respond and to maintain ordinary business records. If you become a client, we keep coaching records for the duration of our work together and for a reasonable period afterward. You may ask us to delete your information at any time.
You may ask us to:
Tell you what personal information we hold about you or your student
Correct information that is inaccurate
Delete your information, subject to any records we are required to keep
Stop sending you marketing emails or texts
To make any of these requests, email us at [email protected]. You can also unsubscribe from marketing emails using the link at the bottom of those emails, or reply STOP to any text message. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under your state’s privacy law, and we will honor those requests.
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect the information we hold, including reputable third party platforms that maintain their own security measures. No website or online service can be guaranteed to be completely secure, so we cannot promise absolute security.
Our site may link to other websites we do not control. This policy does not apply to those sites, and we are not responsible for their privacy practices.
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the effective date at the top of this page. If the changes are significant, we will make a reasonable effort to let current clients know.
